Pictures Worth A Thousand Words

Captivating stories don’t just fill the shelves at the Aiken County Public Library—they also fill the walls. After the 2020-2021 major library renovation, the Friends of the Aiken Library teamed with the Aiken Artist Guild, the Aiken County Public Library and the ABBE Board of Trustees to introduce “Art Among the Authors,” a rotating display of works by local artists to adorn the walls and bring additional cultural interest to library patrons.

Exhibits rotate every two months and artists young and old are invited to submit their work for consideration.
